Wife and I met up with Tyler at the river this weekend to check out the old bridge. HOT day, summer is here for sure. Nice to get to the river for some flying and cool off a bit.
We had a lot of people around the bridge so had to take it easy, didn’t get too close and stayed clear. Still had some good flying and nice shots flying low over water.
Hand launch over water was a bit sketchy ! but I’ve hand launched a number of times so should not be any different.
Water was a bit difficult to see at times in the goggles, some areas were very calm and the water was dark and not easy to see the surface. But also some areas where the river was more shallow and could see the ripples on the surface.
Fun flight !
